Considering fibreglass is actually lighter, i couldn't see how it would add weight!!!

because if nothing is removed from the bonnet, ie. no hole cut :P
then its just additional weight.

For EF/EL it looks strange and it has no function. Better off with a custom bonnet if the engine sits higher than stock..

Isn't ait a complete bonnet or is the fibreglass bulge dropped on top and moulded in? In that case yeah I suppose it would gain weight
