A quick update. The wheels are still at the shop as I had to pay for rego this week, so I decided to mount the 2 pioneer 2 channel amps. These amps will eventually run the pioneer 6 inch 4ways that are already fitted to the front and rear of the car. The only amp that is hooked up is the pioneer mono block and until I am able to upgrade the wiring and accessories it will be the only amp hooked up. I am now starting to pay off my next big mod which is a bear claw universal suicide door hinge kit that I am hoping to have fitted to the front doors in time for the all fords shows up in later in 2008. I have attatched a picture of the back seat where the 2 amps are mounted and will add more pics tomorrow after I mod the false wall in the boot to show the mono block and hide the digital tv tuner.

YAY. I finally got the other 2 19inch wheels fitted. So far I am impressed with the tyres I chose. they are low noise, low vibration and seem to be very grippy. Just got to see what they are like in the wet now

Holy crap! That's exactly what I want my next car (EL) to look like!! Those exact rims and that spoiler! I'm contemplating an XR8 bulge on the bonnet.

Oh well, the ol' EA will do for now.

Ok taday I started prepping the car to ready it for some new mods that have put almost all other projects on hold. My motor has done 300 000 and I am not sure on its history and with the little issues it having I am going to be dropping another motor in, but I will be tiding the motor up and modding it first. the motor will be an ef xr6 and box which I plan to put a high compression rebuild kit into, plus a port and polish, bigger cam, custom cold air induction and all the stuff needed to fix all the common 4.0l problems. I am also planning to upgrade the stall converter and fit a shift kit to the auto when it gets a tidy up. If all goes to plan I will get a chip fitted as well in order to make the most of the mods.

So today I started by making the holes under the bonnet scoop bigger as this will soon be where the motor will be getting its air from. I have bade the holes twice as big as the were previously, while being carefull not to cut any of the supports or to make the hole bigger then the scoop.

I think this looks cool and goes with the snake theme well, but I have only done it as an impluse thing and I am usure if it will stay like this.

Snake looks homo to the max. Will be interesting to see the CAI mod when it's all done.

To me it looks good , but other days it looks really bad. No matter I am just trying to work out stuff for that part of the dash anyways, so it will most likely be gone once that is done
