as the rest are $300+

the one pictures is only like $55
the $55 is for the cap not the tank.

Quoting the site:

22psi Expansion Tank Cap (FEXPTC)

To suit all expansion tank variants. Adds that finished touch rather than using your existing cap.

Stock: Available

Hi all, today I bought a set of VZ SS Indicator Vents, they cost me $140 should get them in about 2 days, and then taking them to the guy whos doing my car, got a call from him today, saying the whole car is in undercoat, and he needs to put a new boot lid on which is costing $150
No news how hes going with the kit yet.

Added some pics of the vents in a car that has been sprayed blueprint. they are damn nice, im still keeping my moulds on all around the car and they will be blueprint aswell, so where the indicator should of been in the mould will be now filled, i thought it would be a nice touch, seeing as im spending enough on just paintjob may aswell get something custom done.
Also getting the rocker cover sprayed blueprint, what else in the engine bay would look good blueprint without going overboard.

I will get some more pics of the car in undercoat tonight when I go check it out.

Is this for real?

Sorry mate, but that really does look like crap. Just my worthless opinion though...

Where's the EL??? Can't wait to see that! :D

What looks like crap, my car or the blue commodore, if its my car then what do you expect its not finished yet, if you think the commodore looks crap then your just another typical ford person who hates commodores just because its a commodore, I think its a awesome looking car.

Got some more pictures anyway.

$1100 worth of paint for 4 Litres
Its still red in some parts because he has to sand them parts couldnt use paint stripper there and he wanted to get the main body in undercoat as as possible so it has alot of time to go hard while hes doing the rest.
Got a quote last night from Climax airbrushing to do a mural on the bonnet. its gonna cost $500-800, im thinking of putting a mural of a beach on the bonnet, if ive got a picture of a chick on there, girls might think im a sleaze and scratch it.

That expansion tank is better than what ive got but not worth that much, it doesnt look too good with all the welds on it, plus it says PWR on it which looks dodgy to me.

Does anybody know what the black stuff is on the firewall, is that sound insulation or a heat shield, Is it unroadworthy to have it there, not that they would notice anyway.

I might not be able to put the new indicators in because its already in undercoat so they might be for sale.

Im putting a new bootlid on because the old one needs a little too much work, costing $150
Getting a new wind screen while im at it aswell because the old one has a little chip in it right in the middle from when i was driving back from the gold coast.

Love the colour in the tin.

Ive saved for a while now, i dont drink or smoke so that saves me a bit, pretty much all my money goes on the car.

I just bought a 15.4 Inch flip down monitor for the car aswell.

heres a pic of what im getting on the bonnet airbrushed, not exactly this but will be like it with out the cruise written on it and no car there. and better job of it.

waaayyyy too expensive. 2pac is about 50-100 a litre... even if it was special it shouldn't be more than 200 a litre.

He showed me the recepit for the paint, was $1087, its not like he had a reason to lie about the price of it anyway.
Maybe that price was with thinners and clear.
Atleast I know now hes getting the good stuff for me, I wanna see it in the oven already.
Its hard not having a car, what do yas think about airbrushing that beach scene, it will look much better ofcourse.

mate thats looking tops, and im all for the mural on the front. those indicators would have looked good too in my opinion.

good to see someone doing something a little different. u cant beat a new paintjob too, soooo nice. i had my bonnet resprayed, back to bare metal, best finish i ever felt on a car. well worth it.

sounds like the interior is going to be tops too. i think on the blue car the white leather would look best....but having said that marks very easy. orange would look hot, but there are a couple of other e series blueprints out there with orange interiors
