WOW! So both your kits were from AWC? Thats amazing how they dont even fit up to the bodywork flush. They're the guys from where i got my bonnet bulge. I may have to rethink who i get my XR kit off...Thanks for the heads up! Sorry to hear about your experiences .

dude hunt down a plastic XR kit if you can. With the pain in the a** that i fitted to my car.. grrr.. i wish i had of gone into ford with $2k and bought a genuine kit! |

Yeah my dad was trying to talk me out of getting the fibreglass kit but plastic costs to much

the fibreglass kits just don't fit the rear bar properly. doesn't matter where you get them from. i got them from a company other than awc and it still doesn't fit.

i got my kit from AWC and got a call from the panel shop saying the rear bar stuck out about an inch from the body, but a few hours later they called back and said they'd played around and its fitted pretty good.
now that its finished it looks pretty sweet. the only gap is where the side skirt meets the front quater. even then its only a few millemetres at most.

Man those cars look sick as. I want to go out and get a body kit for my cough cough gli cough but the motor need attention at the moment.
