Hi everyone just a quick question with my exhaust.
i have a 2.5" exhaust and my mate has recently bought a 95 futura with the same inch exhaust, altho he doesnt have extractors like me, hes is louder. just wondering why and is there any way to make mine a little louder lol here are some pics, i did notice one difference and that is with mine, just before the exhaust tip starts there is a rectangle box so to speak and my mate doesnt have this its just a straight pipe. thanks daniel |

Not in EF they should have 2 resinators and a center bigger muffler standard. The rear recantuglar box you speak of is a resinator, have it removed and it will be louder, personally I'd replace it with a hot dog at least to get the drone out. You might find your center mufflers design is different, is yours a straight through? |

the centre muffler is either straight through as in a perforated pipe goes straight through the muffler regardless if its offset ot not, or its a turbo muffler which is the same thing kinda except the gases go through a middle chamber first

Probably between 60 to 100ish. Depending on brand, and build materials, were you purchase them from etc. Pull your tailpipe off and shine a torch in and you'll see if your muffler is straight through or not. |
