you won't find 19 or 20's for your car for around $2G. Lowering blocks??? you need new springs and shocks to lower the fairlane properly and legally.
you'll just have to do the rounds of the wheel shops or web sites to find the wheels your after.

you can't use lowering blocks on coil springs, they are for leaf springs and they are illegal in street cars.

give it his first year before he has an acco or gets pulled over for defected cut springs .... lol
i suggest making sure the car is serviced and everythings 100% before u start. suspension is $900-1000 fitted, wheels $1500-3000 depending on size with tyres. |

What ever your planning on doing do it the right way, don't take shortcuts. That way you wont run into trouble later.
Also check with your insurance company too, mods + 16yrs = big premiums or no insurance..

I too reccomend doing everything properly; dont take shortcuts and dont do anything illegal.

keep the wheel size 18 or under. not worth the extra money for the wheels or the tyers for 18+. and you will also find that if you shop around you will find a wheel that looks great and also will look a bit bigger than the actull size |

theres some for sale at the moment actually very nice and rare itallian ones on fordmods, they would look mad and they are in e series offset. Also another good reason to keep the size down is the price of tyres, and legally you cant put on a rim thats 2" larger then the largest size avaliable on the car stock, so considerin the el had 16" rims u can legally put 18's on.
heres the link for the rims, enjoy http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=17731

If i was you i would only go 18" at the most. 19" to big and just Gay!
pick up real decent set of 18" rims for under 2k. and then u got your suspenstion, springs, struts. ect.. good luck.
