Hey guys!
Well, i've always been a lurker around these forums, but recently I bought my first car, A Ford Falcon GLi Olympic Edition. Now many of you may say, so what? But I love the car nonetheless so im open to any critisism! I have some ideas for it, such as turbo-ing it, with headers and full exhaust system to make a very quick daily driver. Im also thinking about a new ecu, CAI, and Pod. Im budgeting around $8000 for modifications. I also want to keep exterior additions to a minimum, for a true sleeper look, and are going to avoid lowering it, so I don't bottom out everywhere as my friends car (pictured) does. If anyone has any more suggestions i'd love to hear from you! Thanks! -Rob.

Looks nice and clean mate,
Just a suggestion, put some good shockers and some XR spec springs in it, it wont bottom out, but will still look good and handle better than the stocko springs/shocks. Keep us posted

$8000 is pretty good,
lower it, exhaust + extractors, CAPA supercharger kit, LSD and your $8G will be well and truly gone!

agreed with everyone else. some lows and a set of ftr's and the car would look pretty neat without attracting too much attention.

Ahh, its my mates Prelude. It's only a 4 Cylinder but, boy, it hauls some a**!!! Yeh thanks for the tips fellas. I really wanted to go the turbo route, as I can tune it myself, and have knowledge of it. Plus, I already have a GReddy ballbearing turbo in the garage waiting to be put into a car...so why not...the only issue there, is that the turbo may be too large for what my budget will allow, and be less efficient. My mate reckons its probably a good idea to upgrade the brakes too. What do you guys think?

Definately upgrade the brakes, also you cant put headers on a turbo car
But hey good luck and awesome to see another ford fan on the site. As for the turbo Q from what knowledge i have gathered from this site if it is pretty much like a Garret T4 it should be perfect for a turbo falcon.

Welcome to the site mate.
First of all, and easiest of all... remove mud flaps.. then new shocks and springs as mentioned by everyone else.. new rims... go the turbo... don't get a pod filter... just get a K&N panel filter, so much easier. What's your interior like?? get some leather

Get headlight protectors too saves gettin yellow lights Yeh I wanted to. How much would this conversion cost? I want to beat my mates Prelude, so a turbo would blow his a** away! So you guys think this turbo set up will be okay? And lastly, what PSi would I be looking at with this setup? Thanks -Rob
