I suffer the same problem in my Poly green ED. i wash it, then 10 mins later it is dirty again (gets left outside all the time, no room for it undercover ) So basically i gave up, as the car needs a good respray as it has alot of scratches from the previous owner. Dark colours are like that, they get dirty real quick. I have the same problem with my Navy Blue EL.

i got a bird s**t mark on the bonnet i wanna get rid of.
its only the size of a 50c peice, but it stands out in the sun. i think the bird crap etched it right down into the paint work pretty far... if i cut and polish it will it do anything? or is it stuck there? ryan |

Cutting it wont remove it if it is etched into the paint. Cutters removes paint so to remove the mark would require you to remove the layers of paint the bird s**t has damaged. You will end up with a bigger problem.
The only way to fix it is to repaint. This is why it is so important to remove bird s**t and tree sap immediately.
