Hi All
has anyone had experiance removing a boot garnish from a Na - NC fairlane? i have attempted to remove the one from my car to replace with a good one but it does not seem to come off. Is there more than the nuts holding it on? Regards Barry

you have to remove the whole garnish to get to the screws for the chrome trim with the keyhole in it,
for the whole garnish just the 10mm nuts, lock link as the lock barrel comes out with garnish and bulb sockets. that should cover it. |

Thanks for your help, that got it. There seems to be some sort of silicon goop behind it was catching on it but it worked loose with a bit of leverage. I revealed some rust too so i am in the process of repairing it now. Then i can put the new garnish in.

Just found the reflector where the fairlane is written is not a direct swap from the NA to the NC garnish. does anyone have the Fairlane reflector for the NC garnish?
Regards Barry
