Hey guys just got a quick question,

Has ne one here got much experience in using the Narva Artic Blue halogen lights? Its just i bought a set for my XR about 9 months ago and they would always work fine.

But the other night one of them blew, then this mornin on the way to work the other one blew, lol so i now have no headlights gggrrr. And the globes only lasted about 9 months give or take.

Whats up with that, surely most globes last longer than that.....Ne way what are your thoughts on this and do you reccommend ne other type of globes.

Thanks help would be appreciated. :)

If they are more powerful than standard globes they definately not last as long. The only way to get them brighter is to shorten the life.

But if you've got ones that are only a colour change to blue and not any brighter than normal ones then I'm not sure.

They are slightly more powerful. 4000 kelvin instead of 3200 kelvin so they wont last as long as a standard bulb.

My lights are on constantly and my Artic Blues have lasted longer than that. It might just be bad luck. And the second one blowing might have been because there was only one globe there - they always say to replace globes together and not to use different ones and all that.

Maybe next time try the Philips Vision ones, there more epxpensive though, so I'd personally stick with Narva.

HID upgrade, the narva one is almost $1,500! Often cheaper ones on ebay, but worth it?
