Why is it that people can put various body kits, spoilers and wheels from upgraded models on their stocks cars and there is no complaints, but as soon as you put stripes on it there's big dramas.

People who have problems with need to GET A LIFE.

Mate your car looks good, as does the stripes. Well Done. At the end of the day it's what you think. If you like it, then that all that counts and stuff the ret of em!

I don't mind the kit.
Stripes are a personal preference kind of thing.
If people want to argue it, go to FF.com.au...
As Fuzion said, shadow chrome rims of at least 18"s would look sweet.
There's a s**t of choice for you damn AU-owners as well!
You don't have to worry about a rare offset.

Looks great, quite a different look (different quite hard to come by these days). I probably wouldnt have gone with the stripes personally - but they dont look bad at all, just not my thing.

Once you decide on the right wheels it should set it all off nicely. How's the clearance? Bit worried about speed humps/driveways??

Let's not get bogged down in a b**ch fight here guys. If you dont like it, say so and then build a bridge.

listen to my advice and you wont go wrong.

1. get some deep dish mesh or spider rimes 18x8.5 at the back and 18x8 at the front
2. dump it at the back so its same level as top of rubber and the front just a touch higher.
3. roll the gards.

your car will look sweet and loose the stripes k. lol nice car man.

I think it looks good.
You just need to get it lowered with big rims

Very nice car im surprised how good that front bar looks on it. I think with the headlights you should paint the insides instead would make it look a bit more sexy. The stripes look really good and definatly suit it. At the end of the day the stripes are just stickers and helps break up the colour on your car.

Looks very good so far..... besides wheels what is next in line to be changed?

Hey how hard is it to pull the au lights aprt to paint the insides. i need to pull one aprt to re seal it cause it's got a slight leak. any tips? or suggestions on colour?

Apart from the mags i need to get a bigger tip for it. one that will fit the back bar perfectly. i got twin 2.5" at the moment bu was thinkin 3" and a little more spaced apart. Any one know where i could pick up a pre made one.

I got twin 3" tips on my AU and they look great i reckon. I got it from men at work exhausts at capalaba.

RE AU light disassembly, Check out aufalcon.com. It looks pretty tricky and they'd be a prick to seal too i think. Theres a guy on fordforums.com.au called The Dok, he does headlight repairs etc and can colour code the bezels inside. Very reasonably priced too, i'm hoping to get my headlight bezels done body colour through him.

Heres the link to the disassembly anyhow if you're keen to have a crack at it.

Hope i helped
