Got a set off ebay for $350 (pair). Apparentely they're about that much each from Ford. You got new ones didn't you Till? How much did you pay for them.

Nah Lukey, mine are the originals that came with the car as far as I know. It was well looked after and always garaged, so probably why they held up so well. I have polished them once though, made them all crappy and misty, lol.

Yeh thats what I did, I polished mine and the yellow went away but it became foggy. Ah well new ones now they should be much better.

what did you polish them with? have you tried plexus?

if that doesnt work, follow the doco on sanding them

New compared to old, you can definetely see the difference! Especially on the car they look awesome, and so much better vision at night.

I gave Mum's EL the ol' cut and polish treatment with some Mother's Plastic Polish to finish, and the difference is massive! It only takes like and hour, well worth the time.

That said, because I did a s**t job, they are still a bit yellow. :P But defenitely better. Sand for the full 7 minutes like the doco says, not for 3 minutes. And replace your paper after each light, don't re-use.

$200 ain't too bad from Ford, aw well I seem to have got them at a pretty good price, im happy with them.
