Hey all, just put on a new grill i got made up, so far it looks all good.

As most will know, the monty has that stupid bar that goes through the middle of the lower grill.

I took that out, cut off the ends, and am currently in the process of moulding them into shape so they will sit flush. I am also going to put L.E.D lights into the moulds, so that they will light up the logo. As you can see in pic, I still have the holes where these ends sit.

Some people have put just plain old coloured mesh there that they bought from supercheap or autobarn, I thought id go one step further and put a logo there.

This does not restrict air to any of the coolers, and I have a blown head, so its nothing major   .

Just after thoughts of what people think of how it looks so far. If the pic is a little dark, its because I only just took it about 5 mins ago at 12:20 am lol.

Its mainly there to hide my 5 trumpets of the dixie horn i have sittin there, they are now painted black. I kept getti hassled by the cops about them. A couple of times is because they heard the horn, but most because they stood out like dogs balls.

So yeah, what you guys think???

i like it, definately something different. what you make it out of?

wish i could get someone to knock me up a mesh grille like they have on the fpv's, i think the logo is laser cut into the mesh. looks awesome.

A bit too big. A more subtle approach would of been better.
Also unless you've got a series 2 Fairmont Ghia the badge isn't warranted.

Different is what i was going for, couldnt think of anything else to put there, having said that, I don't care if its a tickford car or not, i like it and thats all that counts.

Its made out of white perspects or what ever its called, and a vinyl sticker over it. Grey vinyl then red vinyl over the grey for "t".

Im gettin a motor rebuilt by the guys at Herrod, so it will prolly be changed as well as the other tickford badges on the car.
