I have just got my ELGT copies and contrary to some peoples opinion I think they look great on the red. The only problem is it looks a bit goofy at that height. I tow a fair bit and have a steep driveway so I can't lower it too much. Does the XR's ride any lower than the standard height?

Looks nice but personally id remove the spoiler. Yeah the XR's do ride lower as you are 4WD height now. I put King Springs 'Lows' in mine and it's a little lower than the XR height. I have never bottomed it out and i drove down a bumpy off road track pretty fast and didn't scrape my bumper so id suggest Lows as Superlows would be too low for towing. My friend has a steep driveway on Superlows and cant get in.

How much lower are the XR's as I said I can't go too much lower than I am at present.

i have lows too and they are good for towing....
i towed about 600kg worth of eskies and camping gear, over some really bad dirt tracks a while back. worst thing i managed to do was rip part of my trailer plug out of the bumper. (im talking about rocky creek beds here) so lows are fine for towing. the worst thing i managed to scrape on was a HUGE speed hump when i went to whylla with a few mates once. (just a note my mums camry only just made it over without scraping) |

I did the XR6 springs from Liam~EF95 install today along with sensatrac shocks all round. Lower by 25 or so mm now, its no where near as tall now and still practical for my needs.
