Hi all,

Happy Easter :D

I want to fit 18" x 8" Rims (ROH Flare Chrome) to my BF XR6 and want to know if I need to have the Speedo and Odo recalibrated for the larger wheels due to rotating less than the 17" to go the same distance?

Cheers,

Scott

if the overall diameter including the tyre is different then yes!

lower the profile of the tyre your using to make the difference, most tyre mobs take this inot consideration anyway. I didnt need to change mine.

If you go for a low enough profile the actual rolling diameter will be f**k all different. There's lots of calculators on the net to give you the rolling diameter of different rim and tyre combinations, google one.

I was a little concerned about the 18s not fitting and knew the 20s were a definate. :D

If the missus wasn't a driver of the vehicle at times i'd prob go bigger.

There are too many choices with wheels.

Fusion Chrome is my preference so I am looking at these rather than the Flares.
