Just thort id thro my pic in there... i had to crop it to actually upload it... but i think that if you can get the layering right it looks awsome, supriseingly there are alot of cars in my hometown that have got it done and they are all different with the shine/matte dark/light/blacked out... b ut yes it can look good, i took mine out for 2 days to do them right... the only way to do it...

I used to have one of cars' lights tinted really dark. It looks 100% black but when the lights were on (21 or 5 watt) they were clearly visible and the colour was an unchanged red
Here's my first LTD:

Looks alright man, well done. Just need window tint and either hide your tip or get a nice clean chrome one

Sorry to dig up a dying thread, but im interested to know what the legalities are on these lights?
I have a few spare sets of tail lights kicking around and also a can of the Night Shadez spray, before I go out and sell my spares and spray my daily's is it legal to actually spray the tail lights? |

No it is not, but I have never had any issues with them. Worse case scenario, I get told to get original lights, then I have a spare set to chuck on But the only reason mine can go so dark is because my taillights are clear, so I am only tinting clear plastic, not the coloured, so the colours come through just as bright, if not clearer than before.
And like I mentioned earlier, make sure you get the bright phillips globes for all the lights, if not led replacements. Go for it |
