And if you're interested - it's pretty much a boggo V8 NL Ghia (98) with a custom fairmont grill, king's superlows, and 18" ROH Modenas...
I always wanted one and finally got around to it ! You can't go past the sound of the old 5.0L either - still sounds far better than any of the newer V8's (IMO anyway) although they are a whole lot slower... Keep us posted JD86 - keen to see what you end up with... |

NF/NL's are the best looking modernish fairlanes i reckon. AU fairlanes look alright... but so plain, and B series fairlanes look like uglier more expensive fairmont ghias, and people who buy them new have more money than taste imo.

Quote: Yeah - dial-up be warned - I thought the site did it's own compression on .jpeg's but obviously not !!! Will cut the size down on any more....
ef007 - I think your sig rides on adobe springs dude - not driveable at that height (at least practically anyway) ! I've had mine sit that low once for about 10 mins before I realised they'd put regular falcon super lows in it (all the scraping and banging was horrific !). No they are not ADOBE Springs.. I dont really think my car is that low.. Some pictures look lower than other depends what surface im parked on and how I take the photo. I chose the whiteline springs as they are slightly lower than the King springs. I would not lower mine any further as would have too much trouble driving in and out of driveways etc.. It also depends on which shocks you use.. I use Bilsteins which are really stiff shocks.. but give an awesome ride Will try and take some more pictures of weekend if i get time.. to show the height of the car... Just curious Windza what shocks you have in your Fairlane? |

Well man - I coulda sworn it was photoshopped judging by shadows and light being too high behind the rear wheel! My bad - from memory - the fronts are Magnetti marellis(?) and KYB's in the rear (shocks from my old EF)... I went through about 2-3 pairs on the rear in the EF to stop the bouncing before I found a set stiff enough and they're just sweet on the lane.
