I just noticed a little bit of peeling of that clear overcoat layer on the paint on my doorhandles, arghh any way to combat this?? help arghh im freaking out ey.
Also ive got myself a EF and that big black side stripe that is stuck down is starting to come up, what glue do you reccomend to keep it down??? |

get some ultra strong double-sided tape to hold the side strip on - call coventrys and ask for the strongest s**t they've got! the roll cost me about $50 from memory, and i did all 4 with 2 strips, and have quite a bit left

Get the handles stripped and repainted and keep the polish up to it. Clear coats always tend to peal if not trated with a polish and left in the sun all the time. My car is always treated with Dri Wash & Gaurd and has not had a problem with the clear pealing. it is ten Years this year and still looks like it came out of the show room.
