Hi guys well I was at bunnings today and I heard over the speaker can the owner on rego number blah blah blah. It was my rego I knew straight away that someone had hit my car.

The guy was trying to strap a table to his roof racks when a big gust of wind blew up and blew the table into my bonnet denting the s**t out of it. It is all covered by his insurance so no real biggy but what I wanted to know are the BA fairlane bonnets different from the fairmonts and XR8's?

What I was thinking was I need a new bonnet anyway might as well get one with a nice bulge while I am there :D

XR8 Bonnets are a special one all it's own, you can only buy one from a Ford dealer if you HAVE an XR8, the price is like poison $1650.00. The Fairmont, Falcon and Fairlane use the same bonnet up til 09/2006 then the bonnet changes for all except XR8, XR6 and Fairlane.

Damn that is pritty pricey. You can get the copy bonnets for around $750 on ebay. I have seen them on falcons so does that mean that it would fit on my fairlane as it is 2005 model?
