Could probably use that flaxi-glow stuf for interiors ... that might be easier to use.

It looks like the projector won't use the reflector at all ... it just beams straight out of the unit itself.

Fuzion ... hw are you mounting the projector inside the light itself????

What I was meaning is for other types of lights ... if it is at all possible. I'd need to look into it though.

It will be interesting to see what they come out like. You should make your high beams projectors - twice the projector power

Also why does everyone love projectors so much? I know I do but why...

I think that's what he is doing ... cos low beam in the XRs are projectors already.

Just gotta adjust the highbeam side of the projector higher.

The beam on a projectors lense is so much better ... it's what gives you the beam spread without dark patches ... with a very defined cut-off beam ... no stray light .. no dark patches.

I have at home the site that tell you how to make angle eyes but he calls them Eagle eyes . It is made from hexagal curtain rod with leds in the ends.
You shape the rod to what ever shape you want .

You use a Demal to cut half way through on the rear of the bar every 2mm.

Drill out the ends to fit the LEDs

Fit them to the lights

Total cost $30

Darren

Got that site too, had it for ages but i'd rather not bother with is as its bit of a pain but ive already given it a go and will make up some custom.

It takes to much time to do the dremeling into the perspex/plastic.

spider, tomorrow/tues off so will rip apart this el light to try out the projector retrofit .. and the angel eyes will giv ea go too.. tryin to sort out my f**k cruise contorl still tho!

heya, ive made a couple of set of these and one set am about to send off for a std el xr headlights.

i use the eagle eye method....

i have also made them for my vl that u might have seen pic of, they were the first set i made and they look alot better now

i would make them for u for $50 and i will pay the postege up to u.. as stated before it costs me 30 to make them so theres not much profit for 2 hrs of work

its up to u
