angel eye #1
well ... lets start by getting some angel eyes for the xr lights so i did. unfortunately the diameter of all of them is too large as their usually made for a beemer. but! problem is that to fit these you need to actually take the glass off the housing which apparently from reading extensive instructions isnt too safe or easy but hell ill give it a goer anyhow. got a broke beam to try it out on and ill see how i do that one and continue on from there. once thats done ill do it to all 4, will post up all pix of angel eye kit (on/off) and step by step instructions when i finish it all. projector retrofit to e series headlight #2. i picked up some projector beams from a busted up mazda6 (i think?) headlight and going to attempt to use them as spotty's, never the less we will be trying to retrofit them to terroristghia (Bretts) fairmont headlights as the normal beams really suck a**. so will keep you posted on the annihilation of the headlights and fitting job of it all! just something new as im gettin bored i spose, the angel eyes should look sweet providing it'll all go down well! |

hhhhmmmmm ... I wanna see how they look ... cos I want to put them in the Altezza headlights I put on my AU.
Also I would think it would make my beam pattern a lot better as well (especially with the HIDs in as well). As a few of your saw on the KK meet-up at Mascot ... the beam goes kinda everywhere. Let me know how you go ... cos I am interested in the projector retro-fit too.

Iv held out from buying a real HID setup as I know if I fit projectors those H4 bulbs are useless.
Pics are needed |

I have seen a few people retro fit the neon parking light rings into Lancer and Honda headlights ... can be bought in kits now as well.

Playing around with it lots its going to be not so easy lol.
the visible view of the actual xr headlight is smaller then itself, so the rings have to be shrunk down A LOT for it to fit. ill see what i acn do! arghs |

Put em in as you have them, and post up the pics, sometimes things are not as bad as you think.
