Been thinking of a set of black rims for a while, but I like mine too much to change. So a compromise is here. But I need some opinions, I like the new colour (just rendered for now) but is it too agressive?

Either colour looks good, but black looks a fair bit better.

Not so dark. It looks like you don't have wheels at all. They look like stockies with no hubcaps. At least when it's silver you can see the rim.

Makes them look really dirty, try that same colour but with a polished lip. Like on the typhoon, so the lip is silver.

All good points, maybe it may end up easier selling these and finding the rim of choice..LOL

id go for "shadow chrome" or perhaps even multi spoke white rims if i was the proud owner of that nice car.

Black looks like a great alternative as well as getting away with perhaps 17" rims unlike chrome where 18+ looks acceptable and anything under looks small.

They look pretty nice dude, I've seen alot of them out on BA's. IMO what would look even better is polished brass/gold on it. It would suit your paint colour nicely.

as few have stated drop it a bit and leave the rims you have on.

I know what you mean by the black though, looks tougher but not as "pretty" if you know what i mean

the black will probably look pretty good if there glossy. Otherwise I'd stay with the original.
