Hi guys,

I have uploaded a few more pics of my painted boot and rear quarters.
They didnt come up aswell as my roof as i had some sort of contamination from the heat as discussed last night but its still more than acceptable i think.

Thanks to everyone for your help. (Xrate & Jallopy Inparticular) if it wasnt for u guys my car wouldnt be looking awesome today. lol

Enjoy the pics..

I have always had a soft spot for painting cars bright colours....
At my age anything to help find it in a car park helps... LOL

My last cab I painted just a shade darker but brighter than Toxic..... (If that makes sense)

thanks guys,
Just wanted to ask that i finished painted my drivers door today and all was going well until i applied the clear coat. When i spray that it was looking good, just like my other paitned parts (nice and glossy), but once that started to dry it started looking like my orange had faded and it kinda went all whitish? And ideas, im thinking that i will be sanding it before i buff and polish so do u guys think it should come out ok after sanding or should i repaint it.

I will post pics but it will have to be shortly as my battery is down..

cheers.

Clear coat needs to sanded off and resprayed again.....

High Humidity is the cause of that one as stated above.....

Bumma hate it when that happens.....

does that mean the gloss has not done its job. i mean i was going to sand it anyhow so do i really need to reapply the clear?

water due to humity has got in the clear to give it that white appearance...

You could try and sand it off a little and see if its just sitting on the surface, You might be lucky and that might fix it but usually it gets in between coats of clear meaning the clear has to come off... you painted it around 4-5 pm didnt you???
