10g for a paint job. There would want to be a hell of a lot of body work or a bloody awesome job.

I would have to go with the old Polynesian Green (Spelling) but i might be a bit one eyed it is my car color.

I said a good paint job, obviously if you wanna go half a*** and have doorjams/engine bay/gutters etc still the original colour then it will be cheaper. Obviously if you use cheaper paint it will also be cheaper. Also if you don't take it back to bare metal (which isn't essential, but better, particularly when you need to fill any minor dints) it will obviously be cheaper as there is a s**t less prep work, plus you don't need to respray etch primer and high build/normal primer (if using this).

My old man's 48 merc got a full respray and there wasn't any change from $15g. But then this thing is show level with glasurit paint, perfectly straight body etc and as a result the final product turned out an absolute killer.

Generally you get about 3-4m2 per litre depending on what paint, but then you gotta factor in how many coats you are doing.

Nicco, That would include primer/undercoat.. enough paint for several coats.. perhaps clearcoat for the finish and perhaps even compressor and gun hire.
