Was do the roof liner today and thought i would paint my intake as well, not finshed cause the paint f!@ked up on me.

is the big flat bit (very technical...lol) finished or is that just the photo.

p.s. how did you go from toying with the roof lining to painting motor bits????

nah the big flat bit wasn't technical at all, just when i was down the shop picking up glue i thought of painting as well (only had one day off so make the most of it), was going to paint the brakes aswell but rang out of time. But yeh the roof liner was easy but the glue was s**t house.

looks like u did run out of paint on the top there near the trottle body!

need to ad some clear coat to maek it look swish!

yeah there is some clear coats on but next day off will get some more paint and finsh it off!!!

is it just normal temp paint you used on the airbox and the plenum thing ?? or VHT stuff.

nah its heat proof paint from supercheap but i wouldn't recommend it cause it stuffed up on me with half the can left cost $15. i got the clear paint from autobarn for the same price and it is alot better so i'll get that next time in the aluminium!!

That looks really good. A bit more paint and a coat or 2 of clear and it will look sweet
