I have done a set of Calipers for my AU (they are BA ones). I took them apart, just took the outriggers off, and then painted them Blue like the High Series ones on the BA/BF. I bought the paint from Supercheap and it cost me $17.50.

Here is a pic:

pretty sure that has to be painted over a chrome surface for it to work.. maybe if you polished the calipers first... not worth it unless your building a show car imho

and even more importantly, do not get brake fluid on them when bleeding them, nastiest stuff around.

or you could do it this way
all you need is:

Masking Tape
Plastic Bags
Wax and grease remover
Preferred Caliper paint colour
Couple of rags
some sand paper

Take your wheel off , wash the caliper and then use to wax and grease remover to get rid of any left overs, give it a light sand and use the wax and grease remover again, wipe it dry, use the masking tape and plastic bags to cover your brake disc and any other parts you do not wish to get sprayed. Make sure its dry and all wax and grease is off
then spray away with your paint, leaving about 10minutes in between coats, give it about 3 - 4 coats, let it dry, then move on the next caliper

Quite easy man

Get them HPC Coated, cooler brakes and it will look pimp as !

polishing them should attract to much heat ! but still would like nice !
