I seen someone paint the brake pad and leave the caliper black and dirty. Its funny to see.
Just take the caliper off. I did the brakes on my EF and just go by the users manual. Its fairly simple if you follow that.

It works, doesn't look as good as taking them off and doing them properly though. You should really learn how to change pads, and bleed brakes yourself though, its not hard. This is the simplest way to paint the cailpers, Yeah get some newspaper and a roll of masking tape mask of the roator(could not mask the centre give it a sporty look but whatever) maske the area and the wheel arch area if your not too good with a spray can. and spray it with some brake paint and leave til dry i would give it a few coats etc but yeah i did this to my old skyline but i couldn't be f**k doing proper. (not saying this way isn't proper)

No the dude actually painted the pad red before he put them in. I watched and laughed the whole time.

Thanks for those images dude,
Gives me a good idea of how to mask it up. Mine are going to be red, I have the paint and everything ready, I just don't have the time at the moment to do it, but it will be done relatively soon, I'll post before and after pics I ended up getting "Septone brake caliper and drum paint", I'll see how it goes. |

looks awsome. I was going to suggest a D.I.Y job at the start. If you've got the right tools, and the right knowledge, it saves you a heap load.
