Hey girls,
Well having a little problem with the colour of the paint i just purchased. My car is navy blue (N9), but what the guy gave me is completely wrong. A little bit like the background of the forums. We test painted in on a side skirt which was grey, and somehow it still didnt match up with the rest of the car.. So is there a reason why he couldnt get me the right colour...or is there something he can do to change the colour? I hate having a two coloured car So embarassing! Anyways, hope you guys can help me out! Cheers.

Take it back and see if he can give you a refund, Or make up the correct colour for you.

I don't know if this is the same as the AU dark blues, but they were very thin paints, which needed many more coats than normal to get the depth of colour. I think most painters ended up putting down base coats of black to give the colour depth. Suggest you talk to a professional painter, who might be able to give you the "trick of the trade".
Might be an idea to politely ask your supplier about it, too. Cheers, Bob

Thanks for your reply Bob!
Ive spoken to nlbxr6 about the paint also, and hes come up with the same conclusion you have. So ill bring a side skirt to him, and see what he thinks needs to be done. If not, we'll throw on a darker base and see if that helps! Will get back to yas if it works! Thx
