God I hope I don't get flamed for this. Basically I don't think at the moment that I can afford a nice looking kit so for the time being and depending on how it looks (I did a few photoshop pics - pretty dodge work, just to see how it would look), I was wondering if people think that spraying the stock bumpers the color of my car would look alright - I have a feeling that because they are a different material it may be hard to make them look the same as the rest of the car but if I could, what are people's thoughts? Has anyone done this? Would it look stupid lol?
But yeah, please don't flame if it's a bad idea, just looking for people's thoughts - I'm on a pretty tight budget what with Uni and all that so I'm looking for cheaper alternatives to spending big on cosmetics. Michael EDIT: Probably helpful if I told you my car - 1993 EB Falcon - Lowered. |

i sprayed my bumpers the other week to match the colour of my Ea . I Hifilled them first to get rid of that s**t texture ,rubbed em down then sprayed em. Its alot of work but they turned out pretty good. Only used like 300ml of paint.

trick is to get the sticky tape to run at the top of the little lip as your eyes are higher then the car so you cant see the seem where the tape was as its up underneath

Really you need to use a plastic primer for it to adhere in the long term.
