Has anyone done their own panel beating? on my EL the right front panel has a slight dint, nothing big but nothing cool either if you know what i mean, has anyone got any tips of how to do it yourself? or is it just best to take it somewhere? I cant be stuffed spending the money on having someone else do it, so doing it myself would be way better, any ideas?
cheers
Jason

Well if your just looking at fixing the qtr panel, then putting it into a panel shop is your best bet, To do a half decent spray job you'll need equipment,
Air compressor, Spray guns, flat sanding tools, papers and paints will outweigh the cost of getting one panel done in a shop.
Plus your paints probably faded slightly from original so the paint needs to be matched otherwise it ends up looking like a patchwork quit!!!!
And I wouldn't bother using touchup cans to try and do it cause you probably won't be very pleased with the results.

If you really want to do a bit of beating I'd suggest you get a DIY book on panel beating. It's not that hard just time consuming and labour intensive.

Hope this helps... :)
