Maybe its the rubber seal thing around the door. I had a similar problem on my EF. The seal came loose at the bottom and when i went to shut the door it wouldnt shut properly and i had to give it a good (but gentle) slam.
I ended up just cutting off the part of the seal that was loose and now the door works fine.

Possibly adjust the striker - just make sure you draw a light pencil line around it first so you know where it was!

I actually have a similar problem. My passenger door was fine until one windy day a friend was getting out of the car and the wind nearly took the door off.
Ever since, it hasnt closed properly I assume it just a matter of undoing the hinges and adjusting the door and tightening it back up. But it looks a biit tricky for me and I dont know who else would do it ? |

That shell is pretty soft and bends easy. It may just be that you need to pull the door towards the back of the car a bit. Or maybe get a panel beater to look at it. If its bent the metal, they can quickly pull it back into shape. |
