WOW!!! so much interest both positive and negative.. 8-) After seeing a few white walls on other cars in the city on saterday night it gave me the idea of the white walls for my car... and i know it isnt a popular mod here thats why i thought i might try it..
And no i didnt want a huge fat white round strip "al ah 50's and 60s cars"... more just a thin 8-10 millimetre white round white strip... my tyres are only 35 series afterall!! -245/35/19s..

in my opinion go a red strip, it will be more noticable and classy. also when there dirty you can still see red. just be sure not to gutter scrape with the white/red stripes as they will scrub off

I reckon it'd look ace.. The only drawback is you can't use tyre shine on them and dust sticks to the white pretty easily as far as I'm aware.

As far as i know, striping the tyres makes them defectable. The rubber is buffed so that the white or red will stick. And any modification done to the sidewall of the tyre deems it defective. Just for thoughts
