y do people want us to get rid of the stock bf xr rims.

if u keep them sparkly clean, and i mean the centres around the nuts everything and the tyres shined and the wheel arches they look nice.

no point waisting money on rims imo.

as already said.

hard cover

and i would loose the stripes and the badges and the bars.

my 2 cents worth

I can't understand the concept of black rims....if you go out and spend big money on wheels, you want to at least SEE what you've paid out your hard earned $ on! As far as I'm concerned, they're a HUGE waste of money. In your case kyle173, don't waste a can of paint on them, they're fine as they are...just keep them nice and clean as stated before.

Had a quick play with it.

* Tint on windows and tail lights
* Shaved tarp hooks
* Polished rims
* Removed tow bar

Let us know if you want it redone.

Try any motor trimmer for the mod to the tonneau cover...looks like what you intend to do is like the (cough) comedywhore cover that velcros (I think) onto the top edge of the tub? Are you going to install the small colour coded plastic plugs into the sides of the tub (inexpensive) or are you getting the holes welded,filled and painted (ouch)? Obviously, debadging is easy (hairdryer), but don't forget that Ford badge on tailgate leaves two holes when removed (no problem if you're getting the other holes welded and filled of course). Be careful what tail lights you buy as some of the aftermarket offerings look woeful and immediately devalue your pride and joy...anyway, enough of me rambling on...cheers Linz.

Hey Kyle, what side of town are you on (do you mean motor trimmers for the tonneau cover)? Sorry, wouldn't have a clue about the panel work...probably check out a few reputable paint shops near your place...cheers Linz.

Just had a look in the yellow pages and there's one at 85 Pickering St called Alderley Upholstery Services 38552050...don't know what they're like but it's probably the closest you'll get to home...cheers Linz.
