Colourising, but it can take ages on big pics

Well i spent about 30 min on this car, best picture i could find from a BA and it was on Google... But i want a more high quality pic so it can look better , so the things i enlarge like the RIMS wont look Fuked . the more high quality the pic the better it will look in the end.

Even tho the rims look ovaly large and animated , it gives the car the look that its the most superior sedan in the world muahaha. Also theres a glow around the car that makes it look all god like, that can also be removed.

This is what i started with ,
Image

Darker blue - 20in rims (lol) and lights
Image

Pimp Style - rims and lights
Image

Green - rims and lights
Image

Blood red - lights and rims
Image

Ford color - lights and rims
Image

Grey with alternate background (can be what ever color ) - lights and rims
Image

You get the basic idea , IF you spend s**t loads more time on a REAL nice pic (looking for one) we will all cream our pants.. rofl

If you know how to use photoshop, i use Photoshop CS 8.0 . You use your lasso tools , along with saving and loading your selections , then apply lighting effects and color tones in your adjustment layers. its really not that hard, however you start to learn what to do and what not to do the more you do it. Like getting the rims to tuk under the wheel guards requires more layering work.
