I know in Vic CF bonnets are illegal, and have a friend with a Silvia in QLD and he got defected for CF bonnet, just ended up painting it body colour. If you are purely after the weight saving, this will only help a bit, but these are the guys u want to contact. You can even convert the front of your car to a BA if you want. They do custom work aswell, all ADR approved.
http://www.blitsbodykits.com.au/ford.htm I'm pretty sure if the CF look is what you are after, you could just get a ADR approved fiberglass one, then get a thin layer of CF over the top. Apparently the sub $1000 CF bonnets you see are exactly that. |
