Yes, yes - I did search but it gave me this: "No posts were found because the word pinstripe is not contained in any post." Tried variations with the same result...

Anyway, I have one front guard with a pinstripe on it - EF Ghia. Hows does one remove the offending strip without stuffing the paint? Considering it would be the only place on the car with one, it would look a bit dorky :)

Any help appreciated

Cheers
RD

use a hot air gun or hair dryer to soften the stripe then gently peel back . dont fry the stripe cause the paint can bubble too. kero or eucalyptus oil and rag to remove any sticky left over. rinse and wax

you can get pinstripe removal wheels that go into a drill. they are made of rubber and dont mark your panels. not sure where to get them though. the wurth man gave me one to try once and they work really well

I was doing it today on my drivers door, was washing the car with warm water and used my thumb nail to get it (have soft nails) it took a while but its gone now no marks on the paint at all :D
