which is better for bodykits and such and why?

Id want plastic; im told they dont expand as much in sun light like fibreglass making paint fade considerably less noticable, if at all.
Also plastic is lighter i think and if hit on something it wont smash like fibreglass, it would more dent/scratch.. Plastic is the winner IMHO.

Yeah i think plastic has a little more give in it, i.e. more flexible. Doesnt take much stress on fibregalss to snap/shatter it.
It would also appear fibreglass body kits MUCH cheaper than their plastic counterpart.

fiberglass is cheap and is really quite brittle, no give will just snap
Plastic is moulded - it reatins its form and is more durable - Plastic is the better material to use - its also lighter as said. All factory body kits are plastic

Yeah, I don't like f/b glass. The d**k johnson bodykit on my ed that came with the car s**t me. looks alright but being f/b glass it is very easy to crack.
