How in the hell do I get my old Fairmont EF Grille off. I got all the screws off except the two in the middle on the top are impossible to get off.

Please help!

get a small spanner and see if you can loosen them - then undo with your fingers - thats what i did, or get a socket that fits and dont lock it into the extension bar, just sit it in there loose and undo - hope it helps!

i did that with the outer ones, but its impossible on the middle one, theyre just too tight. what would happen if i forced off the grille?

not a good idea... do you have a larger socket set? longer reach in socket or go to your local crash repairer, they may help...

i dont mind if it breaks the grille or those two screws, coz im putting a new grille. i might just bring it to my mechanic coz im getting nowhere atm

the grill backing is metal so you will most likely break the bonnet too, go see the mech - he would be likely to have the right tools
