both..

used a "flapper wheel" bit in the end of a high speed drill to sand down all the pitting.. then sanded by hand.. with...

80 grit..
120 grit..
320 grit..
800 gritt..
1200 gritt..
2000 gritt.. sand paper's...

then used "autosol" polishing paste.. and a "buffer wheel bit" in the end of the high speed drill...

have used plenty of tin and spray paint on calipers in the past.. thought i'd try a lil harder this time... lol...

shouldnt rust as it was raw metal in the 1st place.. just very dirty and pitted..

That's something different and quiet sexy...I like it :D.

Now get 6 pot brakes with larger disc, and then polish that :wink: will fill that rather large gap quiet nicely.

phong =P~

BA calipers are a high grade alloy so they don't carode easy just like the rears on the EF EL Funny though they use alloy on the XF to XG but only rears from EA to EL then back to alloy BA front and rear.
I did both on XRuteboy BA and he only had to polish once a year.
