People have said to me that wouldn't it be great if the B Pillar vertical trims were black and had reflection clarity like the windows of their cars
Well guess what, they are now All those who have a rotary polisher, apply Matts Magic Reflow, my polishing preparation product that removes oxidation, softens, hydrates and enhances gloss of the paint and trims, then Trim Dream step 1 to 3 with foam pads, you will get an insane finish The left B Pillar vertical will become like black clearcoated paint and reflections 98% as good as auto glass and the right one which is a different type of material and very orange peely will go from brown/grey to medium gloss black with about 50% to 60% reflection of the left one It can also be applied by hand but will take much longer due to a lack of heat and speed Get the right one sanded back and painted to match the left piece Anyway, the end result is what I was hoping for I have done video and pics while applying trim dream on them Am just waiting for the camera battery to recharge and they will be posted up in a few days With all the ext trim done and the paintwork fully polished, your cars will look insane

wow, the b series pillars love trim dream by the looks of that, that last photo is nuts. probably worth telling people that once you have used trim dream and got results like that, the pillars will ALWAYS stay like that, they wont/cant fade back to the original flat grey colour anymore. well done matt.
any idea when trim dream will be back on the market? i noticed there is a fella in my other thread that was wanting to purchace some.

That is possible but it is most likely that the abrasives in most polishes would strip the coating off, just as they do on exterior window trims
Even if they don't do that to the B pillars, the shine will not be as high as trim dream nor will they permanently seal it like Trim Dream Happy for anyone to use menzerna or other professional polishes on it. Where trim dream is special is it's ingredients and ability to raise the refractive index and turn unpainted materials to glass optics

Matt I hope you are getting patents for these products, you look like you've developed something unlike anything else on the market, it'd suck to see you get ripped.
That last pic is insane, looks like glass.

You prick teaser you! I hate the crappy grey B pillars and trim around my windows and would love to give this a go, but if I am reading this thread correctly, I can't buy trim dream until NEXT YEAR, as in 2009??? Bloody tease

EF Trims - for sure
Give them a damn good soapy wash and follow with application of a clay bar As long as they are not burnt (rear quarters especially), they can be improved by heaps Anyone in SA can have their cars treated with Trim Dream, the service is available, just not the products themselves All you guys in NSW (sydney especially) will be able to get your car trims done as well as complete detailing by one Dave XR8 (reflect tinting) He is coming over for a two day training session on all things detailing/refinishing and I believe he is the right man to offer the Trim Dream service to NSW car enthusiasts and Ford Mods members The service will not be that expensive considering what it does, especially to BA to BF model falcons. Those cars love the stuff It does suck that every product I'll be making will have to be patented, cause I know that they will be revolutionary and sell like hotcakes but if meguiars or any of the other big boys get their hands on them cause no patent is done and start selling it as their own, it's gonna be a field day for them and I will be out in the cold and kicking myself for being so stupid.

Thanks Matt.
I am in the process of getting all the proper equipment as we speak. For all you guys out there in Sydney, My services will be available once I get back from Matts training session(July) and I will be holding most of his products. I look forward to providing the Sydney enthusiasts with Matts products and techiniques in the near future.

Dunno if anyone's got the answer to that. I sanded, primed, painted, and clear coated mine and they looked brand new for 5 months then the paint literally "fell off" im all ears though if someone has a longer lasting solution |
