My BA XT manual, which some dumb cow wrote off. A guy off Xfalcon.com bought it from the auctions and is restoring it! He's putting on an XR front and some big fat 19's. I can't wait to see it on the road again.

We had to heat them up with heatlamps and pull them apart then paint the bezels. We painted them in 2 pack regency red just like the old AU1/2 T series.

Lightforce 240 Blitz ... I have combo filters on them ... so they aren't setup for LONG distance ... a bit of both though.

It shines off the sides of the road in a flat beam (makes it easier to spot roos and the like) ... but I can see a good 750m to 1km down the road at night .... and picks up cats eyes for double that distance.

People who leave their high beam on and forget to dip them know it in a hurry when I give them a quick "flash".

They are strong as well ... had a chunk of coal (size of my fist) come off a truck and struck the top of the driver's side light ... it bounced over my roof and missed me ... I checked the light later on ... not a mark on it.

I wouldn't mind getting a sports bar and mounting another 4 across the roof  But then I wouldn't fit in some loading docks in the city.

About $350-400 for the pair from memory ... and that was about 2 years ago when I fitted them.

There's a HID version ... but they are $1100 a pair

lol id think that seeing 1km down the road with twin filters is enough... they (Lightforce) must think otherwise (with the HID's)

The HID version make mine look like candles ... there's a guy in Wagga that has an awesome setup on an AU ... puts me to shame.

This is his view pretty much from the driver's seat.
