Hi

Does anyone know if you can get new window regulator cables to repair your old ones.

Want to repair a couple that are laying around.

Can old cables be repaired

If the cable is stuffed then the Reg is finished. Chuck them in the bin and buy new ones.

you can buy rebuild kits for them...i was going to get one but it ended up cheaper to get a 2nd hand reg

you can buy new aftermarket regs for around $60-80, if you cant afford $60 you cant afford a car...

I think this bloke had them laying around as spares and wanted to know if he could fix them instead of replacing them, not to use them right now for a current reg problem. In saying that I think his question has been answered

You can use manual winder cables - they are different lengths, so that means the location of the motor moves a bit, you need to redrill/extend the mount holes in the door for them.

BTW, I'm talking about the genuine Rockwell units.
