coming time to do the exhaust finally and wondering what people think looks better - two pipes out the back or a big oval? i was sure on the oval but i just suddenly thought about the twin pipes and thought it looked pretty damn tough. ahh... decisions, decisions.

also, i know this should more go in another forum but i'm also tossing up between 2 1/2 inch and 3 inch. money is not an issue so i'm inclined towards the latter, mainly cuz of sound seeing as i doubt my car will ever be putting out the power causing the need of a 3 inch.

depends what car u have.
Some cars looke silly with twin pipes, some look hot.
Oval is a happy medium tho if ur not sure as it almost always looks nice.

Dump pipes r s**t imho; most ugly looking things ive seen hanging off the back of a zorst bar those tiny twin tips which looks like two cigars, lol!

Personally I think twin pipes look better on a V8 than on a 6. But oval looks good on both! (as long as it's shiny) :D

Na i dont mind the twin dump pipes, i have seen a few with em and i must admit it looks fkn awesome. I was thinking of getting twin dump pipes for my XR but now i will either go an oval tip or a twin straight tip with both pipes being 3' will look fully sik. :)

There's nothing I love more than droopy/dumpers on an old car. I'm a bit twin tips fan aswell.

What happens to your bumper if they fit the oval one? DO they attack it at all and chop it up to fit it?

Nah thats true enough, but personally when i see twin pipes i think of a V8 and want to hear a V8 but if it turns out to be a 6 i just think 'wannabe' but that's just my opinion.

Not unless you ask them to; and even then im sure theyd say no go get the bumper done else where then come back.

If it doesnt fit they will offer a different tip; good point to bring up is even if you REALLY want twin tips and the bumper cut out doesnt shape up for it; it looks s**t!
All these holden n ford utes with twin tips squeezed into the single outles position just looks shocking IMHO. be sensible, choose a tip which suits the car, not what looks cool on the shelf.
