Don't know this guy and have no affiliation.. but if your from central QLD this might be woth a look to fairmont owners.

It's just the bar upper of an xr bar mounted onto a faimont bar and trimmed out so that the fairmont bonnet will close..

yeah, looks abit untidy...

I can tell you that I've been working on mine for months and months now.. (not continiously, but usually an hour or two each weekend) and I'm still going...

but mine is a BA GT to EL XR bar combo and they have much less in common than two eifferent EL halves... (like width for example)

still.. it might save someone else some work.

looks better then the twin light conversions for fairmonts imo.. if it was finished off decently

if you want to hack out a section of the top bar like that to fit a Fairmont bonnet all you have to do is do it to an XR complete bar, no worries about joining it and has the same effect. Also why use an EF XR bar.

Because the lower half is different some prefer the farmnt lower.

Yeah I'd like to see it finished, I'd wondered about similair for a fairmont my self although would like to use an el bar.
