Was quoted $94 each for EL cornering lamps (city ford).. thought the price was a little steep. How much are second hand or afternarket ones if there are any..?

dont worry mate... the lamps do turn up at wreckers and you can easily beat the "New" prices quoted here.... as in my post ^....

do you have to have the lamps turn on when you put your turning flasher on or has some one bypased it so it only comes on with high beam and maybe lowbeam

im pretty sure you can wire them up so they turn on at the same time as you put youre high beams on.... instead of only one turning on when you put youre indicators on... ive wired mine up so they both turn on with the flick of a toggle switch... as a sorta "Fog" system... ( i know the lights shine outwards at an angle so they dont actualy help you see better more other people see you better..)

they really are pretty useless as "high beam" on lights. i used to have them wired to a seperate switch so i coul duse them whenever i wanted.

The angle they point out at makes them virtually useless for driving lights.
