Gday Anyone got any ideas to help me out ..ive got an eb falcon ..now the problem is i keep losing high beam on the headlights ..they either wont come on as soon as ya turn the dipper switch up to high or if they do come on after a while they flicker ..im running stock 60/55's with 100 watt inner high beam's ive changed the relays off another falcon ive got here the lights worked for a while then started doing this again ... any reply or advice would be greatly appreciated as i live in the country & need a good set of lights. thanks

I'd check the relay, wiring, fuse and plugs for a dodgy connection.
Sounds like something has just come lose.

Go for a higher amperage circuit breaker and fit that. Should solve your problem. Its found screwed to your guard just outside the fuse box under the bonnet.

i had the same problem on the xf Ute and the Eb replace the circuit breaker as said above at that fixed my two

ok thanks so far for the feed back ... the 4 fuses (relays) beside the battery ( screwed to the inner guard drivers side) ive changed all four. if im on low beam the high beam may come on then after a short drive the high beam flickers then high goes out all i have is low beam the relays clik when i switch from high to low so that part is all good its got me buggered

Your asking for to much current (amps) from the high beam circuit. Either change your high beam globes to the standard 55w, or upgrade both the relay and the circuit breaker to a higher amperage unit.
Just get some narva +50% in the 50-55w range. There a great globe.
