A week or two ago, I lost one headlamp, now the other. Both work fine on highbeams, but when I have it on normal beam there is just a (very) faint light the same as parking lights.

Any advice on what may be wrong? I noted that there are 2 globes plus a parking light globe in each headlamp, so a total of 4 globes to replace. Seems odd that 4 would go at once. Or maybe it was just two globes, cause the normal lights only use a single dual globe?

I'll try to get the glass cover off and look at the globes tomorrow. Only problem I can't access the bottom clips because of the bumper bar, so I'll have to work out how to jemmy the whole thing out.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts you'd like to share.

Sounds like the low beam filiments have blown..

each headlight has 1 small parker globes, 1 duel fillament globe with a low and high beam in the one globe and high beam/driving light globe on the inner side of the headlight near the grill..
just replace the duel fillament globes and you should be ok again..

also you dont take the glass off the light!!
there is a screw type cap on the back of the headligh in the engine bay the gives you access to the globes..

1 word. moron.

you can't spell.
why would you have to take the glass off to get to the globes?
and your not allowed to touch the glass on halogen globes any way.
and to take the glass off if ever needed your remove the headlight

Thanks for the suggestions.

I can see the globes now, held on by little clips. I'll replace the outer one and that should do the trick.
