Im interested in a quad system for my ba xr6. Its a family car i dont want it to be any louder, so im mainly after the aesthetics of this set up and any performance that may come with it as long as it still sounds like a vacuum cleaner.

Has any one on here done it to a n/a 6? Any idea on how much it costs? i know i would need to change (or cut) my rear spoiler to suit, not concerned with this part of it, mainly interested in the actual exhaust part

Thanks!

Hey mate, ive got the Quads on mine.

The most cost effective way is to source a complete standard BF GT exhaust, replace the original tips with Quad tips and your set. You can pick them up cheap second hand, i picked my old one up for $150.

Right now though ive got the twin 2.5" Redback system, with the standard XR6T/GT twin 2.25" centre section. Definitely not quiet though, you can hear the thing from a mile away

Actually sounds half decent. My neighbour had the quad system on his BA XLS ute and I was impressed.

It sounds good, nice and deep on idle. Its got no middle muffler though, just twin resonators. I'll upload a video of it this week, my friends got it on his computer
