I am getting 17" BA XR6 mags on my EB and I was wondering If I can lower the Front by 3 inchs and then lower the back by 3 1/2 to give it that good looking stance on the road.

Will that be too low, I dont really want to start playing with the body of the car too much?

i'll bet money that you'll be lowering it by more than is legally allowed

so whats the point of insuring an unroadworthy car. if you ever have to make a claim chances are it'll be rejected

Yeah thats the risk you run. If something happens then you get f**k on because insurance will defect it.

maybe he means he's getting the BA XR style rims in the E-series offset? The 17's are around $800 and the 18's are clsoe to $900 on ebay a while back, new without rubber.

Mate, i wouldn't go telling too many people on here that you're running your car without insurance, even if its only on weekends.
Cause what are you gonna do if you run into someone else's pride and joy?

As Interceptor said, i think 3 and 3.5 inches will be lowering it a little bit too much. I bet it would be under 100mm off the ground.
For 17's just go some Superlows and it will sit low and look really neat, but still legal.

I dropped mine 2.5inches and the catalytic converter sits bang on the legal limit (100mm)- that's an EF

Yeah pretty much.
Otherwise the standard shocks will probably blow out or weep, and it will ride extremely rough.
So either way you'd want to get them.

Same thing here, superlows all round and my cat is 100mm off the ground. I have been pulled over for being "too low" but ended up being just over the limit, by a couple of mm. *phew*

Why would you want to lower the back more than the front? then the car will sag in the a**, which IMHO looks s**t house. My car sits dead flat (sexy), but does have a slight sag when i have a boot full, or fat asses in the back seat (s**t house)
