If you did a search youd find a bit on rattles on here. But basically, stuff foam where you can, or use something like silastic in between the boot lid and the bracing underneath. Also check that the number plate isnt rattling. Might need some foam sheet behind that.

Yeah i found when i have the music turned up loudish (no sub, just 6x9's) that the number plate use to rattle. It was a tad loose, so i tightened it up and it dont rattle at all anymore. Oh and if you get plate protectors they also tend to either add to the rattle or get rid of it (the ones with a foam type rubber behind them)

I stopped my boot rattles by putting a genuine Ford (rubber) bootlip spoiler on!
Heavy as far as spoilers go...

i got stick on rubber and put it on the back off the numberplate to get rid of my rattles. then i stuffed foam into allthe broken welds under the boot lid and that reduced my initial problem

Yeah for the numberplate use the silicone and that will stop that pretty much straight away. As for boot rattle take the inner bot cover off then spray the area with sound deading spray..

Do a few coats, then once that is dry buy some Sound Sheild insulation and deck the area out with that stuff. guarantee that wills top the boot from rattling.
